NIPPON PAPER INDUSTRIES FOREST
From trees, Nippon Paper Industries has been producing a variety of products for our daily lives, including paper. The efforts of Nippon Paper Industries in providing these products to our daily lives are displayed in each tree, forming a forest. The forest, which brings together the various possibilities hidden in trees, makes visitors realize anew the value of trees and the future that can be developed together with them. Trees brought in from forests owned by Nippon Paper Industries were used as pillars and fixtures for the booth, and the lighting was designed to express the sunlight filtering down through the trees. The space appealed to the five senses with the smell and feel of wood and the light of the forest. The trees used for the booth will be carefully stored and reused for next year's.
木から、紙を初め、生活の中の様々な物を生み出してきた日本製紙。生活に提供している日本製紙の取り組みを、一本一本の木に込めて展示し、森を形成。木に潜む様々な可能性が集合した森は、木の価値を改めて認識させ、木と共に拓く未来を感じさせる。日本製紙の所有する森林から運び込んだ木を、ブースの柱や什器として使用し、降り注ぐ木漏れ日を演出照明で表現。木の匂いや手触り、森の光など五感に訴えかける空間となった。ブースで使用した木は大切に保管し、来年の展示会で再利用する。
