OBSERVATION CLOCK AMBIENCE
A rotating needle of light illuminates the turret and the surrounding environment. Visitors are invited to feel the time flowing through the island and themselves as they watch the hands slowly tick by with the sound of the lapping waves. The light hands move slower than the hands of a regular clock. Visitors can forget their busy daily lives and slowly face the time. The light illuminates the face of the turret and the surrounding environment, creating an opportunity to feel the history and nature of the place.
砲台と周りの環境を照らしながら回転する光の針。波打ち際の波音と共に、ゆっくりと刻む針の動きを見ながら、島と自分自身の中に流れる時を感じてもらう。光の針は通常の時計の針より遅く動き、忙しない日常を忘れ、ゆっくりと時と向き合うことができる。光は砲台の表情や周りの環境を照らし、その場所の歴史や自然を感じるきっかけを作り出す。
